This is a 2d game made with gamemaker studio 2 based on splatoon.

thanks to Super_IronMan on discord for the name idea and the game icon!

This game is discontinued, soon I will make a new game from a top down perspective, but this game will no longer receive updates. The new game is coming soon (tm) and will be make via the godot engine.

controls:
q to zoom out
e to throw bomb
wasd to move
(you can also use space to jump)
and shift to squid
r to reset to checkpoint
esc to pause

controller (made for xbox but should work on playstation):
right shoulder button to zoom
left shoulder button to bomb
right trigger to shoot
left trigger to squid
left stick to move (and navigate the menu (a to select menu button))
right stick to aim (bullets fallow the direction of the stick)
back to reset
start to pause

if you wish to connect or disconnect your controller at anytime, go to the controls menu.

if the game crashes: DO NOT REPEAT THE BUG, this may cause memory leaks depending on when the game crashed, try to send me the error message and what happened but do not repeat the bug! If the game will crash on startup afterward, delete you options file (localappdata/spla2d/options.dat), the game will generate a valid  one on startup.
